Training and educating India towards a cashless future

The 4th Day of Training and Educating India about the Cashless Future, took place in Jhandewalan, Delhi, under the guidance of the BJP MLA, Meenakshi Lekhi. She ensured the public about the features of digital banking being difficult to crack, warranting safe and secure transfers. A MobiKwik representative, Janmit Singh, participated in the conversation to enlist the benefits of digital payments in the age of smartphones. Another Axis Bank Executive, too, smoothened the public’s worries about going cashless, by assuring them of the UPI’s privacy features. Members of the Keshav Kunj Sangh Karyalaya also had a positive feedback, indicating the possibility of an egalitarian society in the digital era, with even rural areas learning how to adjust to these new changes.

The notion of digitalization is has become synonymous with the Modi government’s goalpost. Digital banking is one of the component of that plan, carving the path for a cashless age. There are multiple benefits of such a cashless future, revealing unaccounted money and nullifying the parallel, black economy being just one benefit. Paperless work and digital banking are some of the other benefits for a technologically-efficient India. Management of personal life as well as professional would be easier to coordinate.

Lekhi emphasized on training of individuals, claiming that 1 trainee would then be responsible for training 10 other people, a huge task for a nation that has operated through cash-based transactions until now.
