Real life heroes that won’t stop ever

The team of Jan Ki Baat celebrated the 68th Republic Day along with the rest of the nation. The Padma awardees of 2017 reflected the inherent, potent heroism set deep within India. Hangpan Dada, Bipin Ganatra, Bhakti Yadav, Anuradha Koirala, Dr Subroto Das, Girish Bharadwaj were just few of these heroes to be awarded. Courage, determinism, hard work, hope and pride are the qualities that all the legendary people share.

The Chief Guest of this year’s Republic Day parade was the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The themes for the 68th Republic day were Skill India and Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao. This was the first Republic Day parade that witnessed the participation of 195 soldiers from the United Arab Emirates military.

India signed the first draft of its Constitution in the national assembly in January 1950, three years after its independence. The Constitutional spirit, the foundation beneath the Indian structure, are celebrated every year on 26th of January, the day on which the Constitution came into effect.
