Delay in Justice: 4 years of Nirbhaya Case

Streets were flooded across Delhi and protests were carried out throughout India against the heinous gangrape of a medical student in Delhi. The incident, popularly known as the Nirbhaya case due to the fighting spirit of the girl, brought the issue of security of women into limelight of all media houses and political parties who promised measures to safeguard women all across India. However, security of women in India remains a myth. It was, it is and as the status quo stands, it probably always will be.
